River tourism

The river offers a completely different view of things compared to the mainland and you can experience this either on an organized excursion or independently, with canoes, rowing boats and small pleasure craft all available. Lemene river is a navigable waterway which traverses the towns of Portogruaro and Concordia Sagittaria and flows into the lagoon at Caorle. It winds its way across 100 kilometres of the Venetian coastline from the lagoon of Venice to the Isonzo estuary.
